Through a study of languages, you’ll begin to see the world from new perspectives. The Department of World Languages and Linguistics at Carson-Newman challenges you to think critically about life and language and prepares you to communicate with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures. From a Christian worldview, we also explore the role of language in spiritual life and global missions.
